When it comes to lingerie, I prefer to keep things simple. I don’t mean Calvin Klein sports bra simple — black lace, elevated details, comfortable fabrics: that kind of simple. In fact, the raw mechanics of anything more complicated — straps, boning, bows, hot pinks and reds, garters, etc — overwhelm me more than they probably should. I’m working on it.
Sadly, high-quality, sexy plus-size lingerie is relatively hard to come by. Enter Gabi Fresh x Playful Promises, a new plus-size lingerie collaboration between plus-size influencer Gabi Gregg and London-based lingerie brand Playful Promises. It’s exactly the kind of lingerie I like, yes — but more importantly, it’s the kind of lingerie that plus-size women need more of.

Both of these pieces feel like an updated nod to the delicate, low-key French lingerie I love (but is rarely available in my size), and would subsequently make great choices for a luxurious Netflix and chill session. There are also bralettes, satin sets, and if you’re feeling adventurous (I’m not, but maybe) — a harness. All pieces are available in sizes 8 – 24, and bra sizes 28B-42G.
“I love structure and support in my bras, but one thing that was constantly requested from my followers was bralettes, so I made sure to design a couple this time around and I love how they turned out,” Gregg said in a statement from the brand. “They’re sexy and statement-making but still very wearable.”
