There’s nothing quite like a mother’s love, and I’m pretty sure Dwayne Johnson can agree. The 47-year-old actor shares a one-of-a-kind bond with his mom, Ata, and they often give us glimpses of it at The Rock’s movie premieres, award shows, and on social media. In fact, this past Christmas Dwayne surprised his mom with a brand-new home.
“All our lives growing up we lived in little apartments all across the country. Lived like gypsies on the road from one state to another . . . since then I always made sure my mom and dad have everything they’ll ever need,” he explained on Instagram. “I always say, if you got a good mama, then you gotta pretty good shot at becoming a decent human being. And somehow, somewhere along the line, I became one lucky SOB to be able to make stuff like this happen.”
Now Dwayne may look like a total tough guy on the outside, but he’s clearly just one big softie at heart.
