With Jonathan linking the statement to Legally Blonde and therefore Sheridan, of which the actress starred in as lead character Elle Woods in 2010.

He said: ‘One of the clues has made me 100% certain and the first clue she said, “My hair colour is officially certified by law…” if for example, that person’s hair colour was blonde, it would be Legally Blonde…

‘Sheridan Smith starred on stage in the West End of Legally Blonde, it’s Sheridan Smith, I bet you 100%.’

Fellow judge Mo Gilligan was also in agreement with Sausage being Sheridan after they cryptically said people could find them having a ‘couple of these [empty pint glasses] and a packet of crisps’.

Despite Sausage impressing the judges with a stunning rendition of And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going from the hit Broadway musical Dreamgirls, they found themselves in the bottom two with Swan after an audience vote.

Yet Sausage manage to win over the judging panel for another week after they performed a mesmerising version of Don’t Let Go (Love) by En Vogue.

Fans were also in agreement with Jonathan and Mo’s prediction over Sausage being Sheridan as they took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
