It’s her! Denise Van Outen has been revealed as Fox and CeeLo Green was the man behind Monster in The Masked Singer semi-final on Saturday
Denise tried to win over the studio audience with a rendition of Bonnie Tyler’s Holding Out For A Hero, which was highly praised by the judging panel.
Guesses had included Tamzin Outhwaite and Martin McCutcheon, but Davina McCall was thrilled when she claimed Fox was Denise, and proved to be correct.
Denise has previously been known for her incredible voice as a star in the West End and Broadway, and has most recently been known for narrating The Only Way Is Essex.
Surprise! The stage star was finally unmasked after missing out on a place in the final, and told host Joel Dommett she enjoyed the chance to perform songs outside of her West End roots
Dazzling: Guesses for Fox’s identity had included Tamzin Outhwaite and Martine McCutcheon
Speaking about her time on the show, Denise said: ‘Well it’s been fun, because I’m mischievous, so it’s been good slinking around and misbehaving, I’m gonna miss the Fox!
‘It’s bizarre, and it does feel really weird, but it all starts to become part of you and you start to feel comfortable.
‘I do very musical theatre songs so I never get to do this song, so to get the chance to do this song and have no inhibitions.’

Denise then clarified some of the clues from throughout the series, explaining she worked with Andrew Lloyd Webber on a one-woman show, and previously performed as Roxy Hart in a Broadway production of Chicago.
Her elimination meant the remaining four contestants would battle it out for a place in the final three, and took to the stage to perform again.
Following another audience vote, Monster was sadly eliminated from the competition, and his unmasking sparked a huge reaction from the panel.
The blue furry giant was revealed to be Grammy winner CeeLo Green, following hints about his incredible awards success, and his large family after becoming a grandfather at the age of just 35.

Saying he was already a fan of the premise following its success in the US, CeeLo told host Joel Dommett: ‘I get the chance to sing all those great classic songs that I love so much growing up. I appreciate all the kind words, thank you so much!’
Closing out the show, CeeLo delivered a stellar reprisal of his earlier performance, and his unmasking means that Queen Bee, Hedgehog and Octopus will battle it out in the grand final.
