The Jonas brothers (and their respective fiancées) were not the only celebs catching some tennis at the US Open this week. In town for the beginning of New York Fashion Week, Bella Hadid and her sister Gigi Hadid were also spotted at the US Open cheering loudly for longtime friend Serena Williams.
Bella posted some videos and pics to her Instagram Stories from what appeared to be an alcohol-fueled good time with her (slightly rowdy) sister Gigi in a VIP box at the USTA’s Arthur Ashe Stadium in Flushing Meadows, New York. We’re not sure if all the support from the VIP box helped, but Serena was ultimately victorious in a Quarterfinals win over Karolina Pliskova.
Serena has known Gigi and Bella since the two girls were tweens, and Gigi has often traveled to watch Serena play matches in the past, calling the tennis star in several interviews her biggest inspiration as a teen ager. For her part, Serena has also attended big events involving Gigi’s career, and even served as the presenter for Gigi’s 2017 Glamour Magazine Woman Of The Year award.
