The Chase fans call 'fix' after The Beast gets 'easy' questions

The Chase fans claim show is ‘fixed’ after team miss out on £100k prize when The Beast gets ‘easy’ questions ‘a child could guess’ – so do YOU know the answers?

The Chase viewers have claimed the show is ‘fixed’ after being left shocked at how ‘easy’ the questions were in the final chase.

The team were competing for a £100,000 prize in the final round after all four contestants made it back from the cash builder.

They also had brainbox Joann on their side, who had single handedly won £90,000 of the team’s prize pot.

However, they met their match when they faced up against The Beast (Mark Labbett) in the final chase, beating their 18 steps with 27 seconds remaining.

The Beast sailed through the round, answering just one question wrong, but viewers at home were left complaining that his questions were too easy, claiming they too knew all the answers and insisting the show was ‘rigged’ to stop the team pocketing £100,000.

They shared: ‘If the team chose this set then they would have had those questions. They are easy though, overly easy. #TheChase’;

‘Idk, 18 and caught. Joann did well but nobody else really stood out, and even her cashbuilder was weak. Very easy questions on the chase also. But who knows. #TheChase’;

‘Won’t lie, there are times where it feels like the difficulty in general fluctuates dramatically, but I don’t think it just favours the Chaser every time. It’s just a bit inconsistent overall. #TheChase’.

MailOnline has contacted ITV for comment.

This isn’t the first time viewers have accused The Chase of fixing the results.

Paul Sinha nicknamed ‘The Sinnerman’ recently came under fire after he stopped a team winning their £90,000 prize by offering up an ‘incorrect’ answer.

In one of the jackpot-ending answers, Paul, 53, was asked which former member of One Direction is the father of Bear Payne.

While the answer is Liam Payne, The Sinnerman appeared to answer Ian, with Bradley saying ‘correct’ and swiftly moving on.

Paul, also known as ‘The Smiling Assassin’ on the ITV game show has been suffering with Parkinson’s disease following his diagnosis in May 2019.

Paul has largely refused to let it the degenerative condition – which causes uncontrollable movements like shaking, stiffness and stuttering – define him or hold him back, and has even incorporated it into his stand-up routines.
