The Apprentice's Lottie Lion's ex hits out at former girlfriend

The Apprentice’s Lottie Lion hit by claims she’d ‘threaten to sleep with other men when she argued with her former boyfriend’

The Apprentice 2019 contestant Lottie Lion has been hit by claims she’d allegedly threaten to sleep with other men when she argued with her former boyfriend.

Earlier this month, the reality star, 20, revealed she moved out of the home she shared with ex Richard Brice as he dumped her following reports that she cheated on him with fellow hopeful Lewis Ellis – a rumour she’s denied.

Following their split, Exeter native Richard, 26, claimed the librarian would suggest hooking up with other men when they got into disputes during the course of their one-year relationship.

Lottie’s former beau insisted the couple embarked on a romance in 2018, when she ‘lived in a bedsit and was on £8.50 an hour.’

Richard said the couple would get into explosive disagreements, when the brunette would reportedly threaten to meet up with other men.

He told The Sun: ‘She was attractive, outgoing and fun. But we had a lot of arguments over silly things and she was quite controlling. She’d threaten to sleep with someone else every time we argued.

‘She’d send me screenshots of messages with other guys, suggesting she’d meet up with them.’

Lottie rose to prominence on last year’s edition of Lord Alan Sugar’s competition series The Apprentice, where she made the final five.

Richard claimed his then-girlfriend ‘confessed’ to hooking up with Lewis – an incident she says took place during a brief split from him.

He added to the publication: ‘There was a pause and then her eyes started to water up. She didn’t confess to the Lewis part but I could tell something had happened. It then came out in dribs and drabs.’

Richard alleged the pair were ‘on and off’ over the summer and we’re still in contact when the show aired from October to December 2019.

MailOnline has contacted Lottie’s representatives and a BBC spokesperson for further comment.

Late last year, Lottie and digital project manager Lewis, 29, enjoyed a brief fling after growing close during filming.

While the pair apparently tried to keep their ‘night of passion’ quiet, their fellow contestants found out and things were ‘awkward’ between them for the remainder of the show.

‘You must have cheated on him’: Former contestant Thomas Skinner replied by claiming her fling with Lewis took place during a task in Finland

She tweeted: ‘A week ago my parter (of nearly a year) left me, I moved out and was in an utter panic. Today with the help of my grandparents I’m moving to my new flat in Bristol. I couldn’t be more excited/ nervous and grateful to them.’ [sic]

Former contestant Thomas Skinner replied by claiming her fling with Lewis took place during a task in Finland, penning: ‘Sorry to hear about this but on the bright side If you was with him a year…

‘you must of cheated on him with @ImLewisEllis in Finland so couldn’t been that good… Good luck in your new flat. Let me know if you need any Pillows. I’ll send you some out… good luck.’ [sic]

Lottie stood by her statement as she responded: ‘Firstly I said “NEARLY a year” and secondly, I have distanced myself from the process, from you candidates and I am trying my best to get on with my life.

Spat: It was reported Lottie had told fellow contestant Lubna Farhan (second from right), 33, to ‘Shut up, Gandhi’ and warned ‘I’ll f*** you up’ in a private WhatsApp group conversation

‘What did you think you’d gain from trying to publicly humiliate me? You’re supposed to be a “nice” guy Tom. Grow up.’ [sic]

Since her stint on the programme, the media personality has criticised the BBC for portraying her in a ‘horrific’ way and leaving her ‘high and dry’.

She was forced to deny accusations of racism, bullying and homophobia made against her.

Bitter appearance: Since her stint on the programme, the media personality has criticised the BBC for portraying her in a ‘horrific’ way and leaving her ‘high and dry’

It was reported Lottie had told fellow contestant Lubna Farhan, 33, to ‘Shut up, Gandhi’ and warned ‘I’ll f*** you up’ in a private WhatsApp group conversation, in an incident after filming on the show had ended.

The BBC later described the comments Lottie had made as being ‘wholly unacceptable’.

Lottie added she felt there has been ‘a huge lack of support’ from the broadcaster. She said at the time: ‘The BBC have portrayed me in this horrendous way, they’ve left me high and dry. They told me that they knew I wasn’t a racist and yet went to the papers and said, “Yes, we don’t condone what Lottie’s done.”‘

Lottie,  who lasted 11 weeks in the process, told the Daily Mail the ‘tumultuous’ experience on the show has knocked her confidence ‘enormously’, so much so she doesn’t want to walk down the street alone.

Lottie said: ‘I am a shell of the person I was when I initially went into that process. I now cannot leave the house without make-up on, I will not wear any clothes that will make me particularly stand out in public any more, I want to blend in as much as I possibly can.

‘I hate the attention being drawn to me in a situation where I might be by myself walking down a high street, it’s really intense. I don’t have a lot of confidence in comparison to before.’

Lord Sugar chose to send artisan bakery owner Carina Lepore and recruitment company owner Scarlett Allen-Horton to the final, with the former winning the competition.
