Teen reveals ‘stress and anxiety’ after Roxanne Pallett’s bullying accusations

A teenager accused of bullying Roxanne Pallett while he and his friend were on a train has revealed the stress and anxiety caused as a result of the incident.

The Derbyshire-based 18-year-old also claimed that the soap star had also accused them of "sexual harassment" during the incident last year.

Former Emmerdale actress Roxanne, 35, quit Celebrity Big Brother last month after accusing winner Ryan Thomas of "punching her multiple times like a boxer".

Roxanne had been under an avalanche of fury over the accusations, leading her name to be heavily booed by the audience when presenter Emma read out her name during Ben Jardine ‘s live eviction and there were audible chants of "get Roxy out".

After hearing the public reaction and watching close friend Ben leave the house, Roxanne retreated to the Diary Room to reveal her decision to walk out.

Since seeing the footage, Ben has condemned Roxanne’s actions and hit out at her "disgraceful lies" .

She later also admitted that she had "got it wrong" during her first interview with Jeremy Vine and "massively apologised" for her accusations.

Roxanne has also been largely condemned by her former soap co-stars.

A Derbyshire teenager, 18, has also spoken out against Roxanne after he was accused of bullying Roxanne on a packed train last year.

Speaking to the Daily Star , he hit out at the ex-soap star "craving attention" and said that she "doesn’t know what’s real life and what’s acting".

"She’s the victim and it’s always about the impact on her mental health and not the impact on other people’s mental health and always trying to create a drama and a scene," he said.

He pointed out that it is "not right" how she treats people and manages to get away with it and insisted that she "needs to seek treatment for herself".

It was also reported that he had felt "too scared" to come forward after the video emerged of Roxanne on the train with him and his friend and that he was worried it could have a negative impact on his college applications.

Speaking about what had happened, he said Roxanne had been coming back from a film festival in Scotland and that she had been sat in first class.

"Me and my friend were initially shocked to see someone sat there of her celebrity status," he said. "She sat across from me and my friend, who has Aspergers Syndrome and I recognised her from Emmerdale as he has a keen interest in soaps and I told my friend who it was."

He revealed that his friend began getting excited and "started acting silly by saying her character name from Emmerdale", adding that it "must have got to her".

He said: "And then all of a sudden she gets her phone out and proceeds to film me and my friend from behind, while claiming bullying and harrassment."

The teen claimed that Roxanne had also accused them of "sexual harassment".

He added: "In Roxanne’s video, we tried to ignore what Roxanne was saying to us and she proceeded continuing to try and cause a scene, like it was some sort of soap opera."

Despite claiming they both apologised to Roxanne, the teen said they were shocked to see the footage online just days later.

He insisted that the original length of the video showed him and his friend apologising and shaking hands with Roxanne.

The teen also claimed that Roxanne had said that she would "delete the footage" and that they could move on from what had happened.

He added that seeing her on CBB has "brought back severe stress and anxiety to his friend who has Asperger’s Syndrome".

The Mirror Online has contacted Roxanne’s reps for comment.
