Taylor Swift looks horrified as her piano starts playing by itself

‘Can you guys hear that too?’ Scared Taylor Swift looks horrified as her ‘possessed’ piano starts playing by itself during a live show

A recent gig on Taylor Swift’s Eras tour took a spooky turn this week when her ‘possessed’ piano began playing by itself during Sunday’s show.

The pop princess, 33, looked notably shocked when her keyboard began playing during Red (Taylor’s Version) as she shouted to the crowd: ‘I didn’t play that!’

As the piano continued to make sounds, horrified Taylor covered her face and questioned if it was just her who was hearing it, asking fans: ‘Oh my god, do you hear that? Is that happening for you guys too?’

Despite the freaky interlude in the show, there was a reasonable explanation for the ‘haunted’ self-playing piano, as Taylor went on to explain.

Taylor played an entire three and a half hour show at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts in the pouring rain earlier this week.

Omg! A recent gig on Taylor Swift’s Eras tour took a spooky turn this week when her ‘possessed’ piano began playing by itself during Sunday’s show

Taylor, who was recently revealed to be dating 1975 singer Matty Healy, then told fans: ‘Okay I’m just going to do another song on guitar, that’s insane.’

She then went on to explain that the piano will have malfunctioned due to water damage from the rain.

Referencing the downpour, she said: ‘What happened is, long story short, I get to my acoustic set, you know when you’ve been in a bath for too long and your fingers are so pruned, like I looked at my fingers trying to play the guitar, and it was like I was in a bath for 2.5 hours of lukewarm water,’

‘Another thing that has happened is that [the water] has clearly broken my keyboard because [the keyboard] was literally underwater, so this is broken.’

‘I didn’t know how any of the instruments were working last night. So this is broken, I’m just gonna get the guitar. It’s gonna be fine.’

Following the show on Sunday, Taylor wrote on Twitter: ‘We’ve had rain shows at Gillette Stadium before, but this was a full on deluge that never let up, I just want to thank that iconic crowd.’

A few days after that show, Taylor cancelled four shows for the first time in her career because she developed bronchitis.

And while Taylor appears to have made a full recovery, it seems her keyboard hasn’t.

Taylor completed Sunday’s show without any further issues called by the ‘deluge’ of rain, much to the delight of her fans.

The Lover hitmaker showed her commitment to her tour during the first ‘rain show’ when the rain during one of her Nashville dates wouldn’t let up.

Taylor took to the stage two hours late, starting her gig at 10pm and playing until 1.30 in the morning.

Following Saturday’s show, a Taylor fan has put containers of rainwater from the gig up for sale, weeks after another attempted to sell used contacts for $10,000.

One fan decided to make the most of the rainy opportunity and collected a small amount of the apparently-collectible rainwater from inside the stadium.

On Sunday, a photo was shared to the Instagram account of Only In Boston showing the listing for the containers of water, which were selling for a grand total of $250.

Several of Taylor’s fans took to the post’s comments section to inquire about where the rainwater had been collected in the venue.

One of broken new ground in displaying their love for the superstar singer–songwriter.

Earlier on Wednesday, fans discovered a listing on the clothing sales site Depop in which the user listed a paired of dried-up disposable contacts with a specious connection to swift and a whopping $10,000 price tag.

The user described the gross items as ‘contacts that have seen taylor swift eras tour [sic].’

They were accurately described as being ‘Used,’ the potential buyers could have quibbled over whether the wrinkly contacts were actually in ‘excellent’ condition.

After the listing had been taken down, the user clarified on their profile page: ‘LMAO IT WAS A JOKE.’
