Taylor Schilling says it’s time for ‘OITNB’ to end

Taylor Schilling thinks it’s the right time to say goodbye to “Orange Is the New Black.”

“I mean it’s very poignant because its one of those things … It was a magic moment in time and it’s time for it to end,” the actress told Page Six at the premiere of her new movie “The Public” on Monday. “It feels beautiful. It feels like we’re ending on our own terms and it’s exciting and it’s sad. It’s sad to say goodbye to the story. It’s a big change, but it feels like its on time.”

Netflix revealed in October that the upcoming Season 7 would be the last for the prison dramedy.

“After seven seasons, it’s time to be released from prison,” said series creator Jenji Kohan at the time. “I will miss all the badass ladies of Litchfield and the incredible crew we’ve worked with. My heart is orange but fade to black.”

Schilling, 34, is ready for the next step in her career.

“It’s unknown and exciting,” she told us.
