Taron Egerton Jokingly Slams Richard Madden on Instagram

Taron Egerton had a little fun with his Rocketman co-star Richard Madden today on Instagram.

Taron posted a photo of the pair on set and began his caption, “I have been dead lucky in the sense that I have great family and the most amazing friends. Most of those people have been in my life for a long time. It isn’t often a new person like that comes along. When they do it’s really special.”

Then, Taron joked, “@maddenrichard is NOT one of those people. He is horrible. This photo was taken on his last day of filming on @rocketmanmovie . I was so relieved that he was finished and I didn’t have to look at him or talk to him any more; I couldn’t stand another moment in his company. He was jealous and bitter because my hair was better than his and I have more followers on Instagram.”

FYI: Taron is clearly joking, as Richard actually has over 2 million followers while Taron is just shy of a million. And their hair is just a little different in the below photo!

If you missed it, Taron recently spoke about filming sex scenes for Rocketman with Richard.
