Tame Impala Are A ’70s Wedding Band In ‘Lost In Yesterday’ Video

Tame Impala have dropped a music video for their latest single, “Lost in Yesterday,” for which the band turned into a 70’s wedding band.

“Lost in Yesterday” is the first song from The Slow Rush to get a music video. The retro video was directed by Terri Timely and shows the band playing at several wedding receptions held at the same venue.

The Slow Rush, a follow-up to Currents, is set to drop on February 14. In addition to “Lost in Yesterday,” the band has shared “Borderline,” “It Might Be Time,” and “Posthumous Forgiveness” from the album.

The album was originally intended to be released before Tame Impala headlined Coachella last April, but frontman Kevin Parker changed his mind.

“I [had] told myself that all I wanted to do was put out an album, and I didn’t care if it wasn’t as good,” Parker told Billboard. “I was happy to sacrifice quality for timing. [But] I just knew in my heart that it wasn’t ready.”
