Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin have decided to keep the newest member of their family despite the division he unwittingly caused.
The 76-year-old actor and his 54-year-old wife are reportedly keeping their rottweiler Dwight, according to TMZ.
The rottweiler had reportedly become a major source of conflict in the couple’s marriage, which nearly ended in divorce – although some have speculated the split was orchestrated for an upcoming reality show starring the family.

The outlet also reported Flavin actually really loves the big pooch, a stark change from how she used to feel.
TMZ previously stated that Flavin didn’t want another dog, especially a big one like a rottweiler. Stallone then replaced a tattoo portrait of Jennifer with one of the dog, Dwight.
Sylvester previously vehemently denied rumors that the split came as the result of an argument over his decision to get a new Rottweiler, Dwight.
The reports about the dog-based disagreement came from an unnamed source, who claimed to TMZ that Stallone was intent on getting the new canine in order to ‘protect the family’.

However, the insider alleged that ‘Jennifer didn’t want the canine’, and that Dwight’s arrival at the family home triggered an argument that ultimately unearthed deeper issues within their relationship, eventually sparking their divorce.
Stallone later hit back at these rumors, insisting that he and Flavin had not ended their relationship because of ‘such a trivial argument’, but rather the pair simply ‘went in different directions’.
Flavin shockingly filed for divorce from her husband of 25 years, 76, back in August. A judge officially dismissed the proceedings last week.

The couple filed a voluntary notice for dismissal in Palm Beach County, Florida and are ‘together and very happy’, Page Six reports.

Their reconciliation came one month after Jennifer filed for divorce from Sylvester.
Days prior to their reconciliation, a court filing revealed at a Palm Beach Country, Florida court revealed that the duo agreed ‘that it is in the best interests of each of them individually, and more importantly collectively as a family, to resolve all issues attendant to the dissolution of their marriage in a dignified, amicable and private manner out-of-court.’
