When Katie Price brought Kris Boyson on to Loose Women back in July, the new couple gushed to viewers about how in love they were.
Mere weeks into their blossoming romance, the ex glamour model shared how much she and her years younger beau clicked as they made their TV debut together.
But the dramatic finale of Katie’s fly on the wall documentary series My Crazy Life has revealed a very different side to the TV appearance.
Behind the scenes footage of the lunchtime program shows a very reluctant Kris getting roped into a grilling on his feelings for Katie – while she teases he’s been ‘done up like a kipper.’
As she headed into the studio for her return to the show, Katie spoke candidly about her comeback: "Because of a lot of things happening in my life I thought it was best to take a break with Loose Women.
"But now I’m back on the show and I’m feeling good about myself."
Katie then reminded the make-up artists the last time she was on the show she broke down in tears as her mum was diagnosed with a terminal lung illness.
After her glam squad makeover, Katie headed on the show with Kris Boyson sitting front row in the audience to support her.
What the ITV camera’s didn’t show was the personal trainer rolling his eyes as his girlfriend opened up about her latest battles.
"I wasn’t expecting to be on Loose Women," he explained. "So when I’m sitting there I’m thinking… have I worn the right outfit? Have I done my hair?"
Things then got more awkward for Kris as Katie’s marriage to Kieran Hayler was discussed, with the show airing tense scenes of her confronting him over cheating allegations.
While viewers watched the clip, Kris huffled uncomfortably in his seat and looked down at the ground.
"It’s a struggle to see a VT come up of them two having a row and him treating her like s**t," he said later.
"I’ve been done up here," Kris fumed after the show wrapped.
"You’ve been done up like a kipper," agreed Katie.
But Katie was feeling confident: "The Pricey is back," she said as she left the TV studios.
