Shawn Mendes & Khalid Unveil Powerful ‘Youth’ Music Video – Watch Now!

Shawn Mendes and Khalid‘s “Youth” music video is a call to action.

The 20-year-old “In My Blood” crooner and the 20-year-old “Love Lies” singer shared the visual with fans on Monday (November 5), just ahead of the midterm elections.

Co-written by Marjory Stoneman Douglas students Emma Gonzalez and David Hogg, director Anthony Mandler, and Larry Jackson, the seven-minute video spotlights over 30 inspiring young people from around the world.

The young activists, painters, dancers, gun violence survivors, musical prodigies, and many more are splashed against a stunning New York City backdrop.

“For the ‘Youth’ video, we wanted to make something that would highlight and empower young people, by giving the stage to a group of extraordinary kids,” Shawn said. “Khalid and I wanted them to be the focus of the video, and to give them a platform, in the hope that it can inspire other young people to pursue what they love and use their voice.”
