Sharon Stone has revealed that she was dumped by a former flame after she refused to get Botox.

Speaking to Vogue Arabia, while also posing for a stunning cover shoot, the mother-of-three confessed that while she has had the procedure in the past she no longer undergoes cosmetic enhancements following a near-fatal stroke in 2001.

Sharon responded by quipping: ‘It would probably be really good for your ego and mine if I did’, but revealed their relationship then came to an end shortly afterwards.

She recalled: ‘I saw him one more time after that and then he wasn’t interested in seeing me anymore. If you don’t see me for more than that, you’ll please find your way to the exit.’

Sharon did not reveal who the former lover was that dumped her.  Her last known relationship was with rapper RMR, 26, with reports surfacing in June last year that they had been ‘dating for several months’.

Then and now: Sharon (pictured left in 1994 and right in June 2022) revealed that she used to have Botox and fillers but stopped the procedures when a near-fatal stroke in 2001 changed her perspective on them

‘She’s definitely having a hot girl summer,’ a source told Page Six at the time, saying RMR thinks she is ‘cool as f**k’ and he has ‘respect’ for the former model who broke through in the Nineties with her sexy thriller Basic Instinct.

The pair did not speak publicly about their relationship and it is not known if they are still together or if they split.

Detailing her reasons for forgoing cosmetic enhancements she explained that she revaluated her stance after suffering an aneurism in 2001 that nearly killed her, requiring seven-hour surgery and a lengthy recovery process.

She explained: ‘There were periods in the super fame when I got Botox and filler and stuff, and then I had this massive stroke and a nine-day brain hemorrhage and I had to have over 300 shots of Botox and filler to make the one side of my face come up again…’

The life-changing experience forever changed the way the star looked at cosmetic surgery, which in her eye, transformed from ‘cute luxury to some kind of massive, painful neurological need.’

Yet while she may be determined not to conform to Hollywood norms by having surgery, she lamented that after 45, ‘women become invisible’ in a world ruled by ageism and sexism.

She said: ‘I think I can probably speak for you and the rest of the female planet when I say that there’s a giant effort to make us not feel free and to feel oppressed. And I don’t go for it… I feel like this is the most exciting and creative period of my life. I feel really, really happy. I’ve never been this joyful.’

Last year, Sharon revealed her surgeon increased her bust by a full cup-size without her consent.

The Hollywood actress went under the knife to have benign tumours removed in 2001, before waking to discover her doctor added the surgical enhancement because he ‘thought that I would look better’.

She told The Times: ‘When I was un-bandaged, I discovered that I had a full cup-size bigger breasts, ones that he said, “go better with your hip size”. He had changed my body without my knowledge or consent.’

Sharon has long been accused of having plastic surgery but insisted in 2013 that she had not gone under the knife despite being offered procedures from doctors.

She explained: ‘I can’t tell you how many doctors try to sell me a facelift. I’ve even gone as far as having someone talk me into it, but when I went over and looked at pictures of myself, I thought, what are they going to lift?

‘Yes, I have come close – but frankly, I think that in the art of aging well there’s this sexuality to having those imperfections. It’s sensual.

‘People are afraid of changing; that they’re losing something. They don’t understand that are also gaining something. I thought I lost the deep vortex of on my eyelid that you have when you’re younger, but I gained almost a kind of beautiful abyss. As I lost the fullness in my face, I go in these great cheekbones.’
