It was time for Mercedes Javid to say goodbye to her father on Shahs of Sunset Season 7 Episode 4, and it resulted in the most emotional episode of this Bravo reality series yet.
If you watch Shahs of Sunset online, you know that MJ has been hoping that her father would get better in time to walk her down the aisle on her wedding day.
In a tragic twist of fate, he passed away, but MJ continued to try and plan her wedding day while simultaneously trying to process the fact that her father was gone.
MJ wanted to try on some wedding dresses, so she Reza Farahan and Mike Shouhed made their way to Orange County, and MJ wasted no time in trying on some of the dresses.
Reza and Mike realized there was something amiss with MJ when she disappeared inside a dressing room, and did not come back out for some time.
“No, I’m not okay,” Mercedes sobbed from the inside.
“I just wanted to share this with my father,” she said through the tears to her friends as she wore a wedding dress.
“My dad isn’t going to walk me down the aisle. Boom, crash,” she said in a one-to-one with audiences, addressing the fact that there was no way he could walk her down the aisle.
The episode was a somber one for sure, and it was evident that MJ’s father had a profound impact on all of the cast members.
While everyone was fighting through the grief, Mona celebrated her birthday with her friends.
If you watch Shahs of Sunset online, you know that Nema, Mona’s brother, was getting close to GG at the top of Shahs of Sunset Season 7.
The issue was that Nema was in a relationship with a woman named Erica, but he went ahead and tried to romance GG.
He even asked GG to meet up with him for a date when the group returned from a trip to a ski resort. Erica managed to keep her cool, but it was very awkward.
GG was confused because Erica seemed perfect and very much Nema’s type on paper, so it made her wonder whether Nema was really as nice as he implied.
Let’s face it, if you’re in a relationship and trying to hook up with someone else, then that’s not the nicest thing to do.
GG has had her fair share of drama thanks to the men she has chosen to be in a relationship with.
She’s currently battling her way through a divorce from Shalom Yeruoshalmi. Their relationship was filled with toxicity, so it was surprising that they opted to get married in the first place.
GG was shocked to learn that she would have to jump through hoops if she wanted to get Shalom out of her life for good.
That’s what happens when you marry someone without knowing who they are. The whole GG-Shalom plot got long in the tooth the moment they were shown to be arguing.
