Sarah Jessica Parker looks glamorous in a green gown with a leggy thigh-high slit at ATG summer party

Sarah Jessica Parker looked as glamorous as ever as she attended the ATG summer party at Kensington Palace in London on Wednesday.

The actress, 58, wore a sensational green gown with a leggy thigh-high slit for the event as she was joined by her husband Matthew Broderick, 61.

She ensured all eyes were on her in the floaty number that featured a plunging neckline and cape-style chiffon sleeves.

Sarah styled her hair into soft waves and elevated her height with a pair of metallic strappy heels.

Joining her at the bash was Cara Delevingne, 31, who wore a chic pinstriped blazer and matching trousers.

Elsewhere, Jenna Coleman put on a chic display in a stunning lace dress that nipped in at her waist.

Charlotte Tilbury was also in attendance as she smiled for photos with Sarah and Cara.

The party was hosted by Ambassador Theatre Group CEO Mark Cornell In Honour of Sarah and Matthew.

It comes after it was recently announced And Just Like That has been renewed for a third season at HBO’s streaming service Max, just days before the much-anticipated return of Kim Cattrall’s iconic Sex and the City character Samantha Jones.

In a statement, Max’s Head of Original Content Sarah Aubrey, said: ‘As we approach the highly anticipated season finale on Thursday, we raise our cosmos to [showrunner] Michael Patrick King and his magnificent team of writers, producers, cast and crew who continue to charm us, 25 years later, with dynamic friendships and engaging stories.’

Aubrey added: ‘We cannot wait for audiences to see where season three will take our favorite New Yorkers.’

King said: ‘We are thrilled to spend more time in the Sex and the City universe telling new stories about the lives of these relatable and aspirational characters played by these amazing actors.’

Fans of the original Sex and the City have had a love-hate relationship with the new revival, that has sorely been missing Cattrall’s sex-positive PR guru Samantha.

However, viewers were stunned to learn earlier this year that despite being extremely vocal about her desire to move on from the character Samantha, Cattrall had secretly agreed to return in a surprise cameo appearance.

‘It’s very interesting to get a call from the head of HBO saying, “What can we do?”‘ Cattrall told The View in June, before adding with cheeky smile, ‘And I went, “Hmmm… let me get creative.”

Cattrall’s rider was pretty simple (aside from a no doubt eye-watering pay check): she wanted original costume designer Patricia Field to dress her for the scene.
