United Stations Media Networks and Storic Media Podcast Network will present a benefit show titled “Rock For Relief” to help raise awareness and money for Feeding America’s COVID-19 Response Fund on Friday.
The concert, to be hosted by Lou Brutus and Riki Rachtman, will be broadcast beginning at 8 pm ET on Storic Media’s YouTube channel.
The lineup of artists due to perform includes Slipknot‘s Corey Taylor, Bush‘s Gavin Rossdale and Halestorm‘s Lzzy Hale and Joe Hottinger.
The show will also include talent interviews conducted by Alice Cooper and Joe Satriani.
In a statement about the event, Feeding America said that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, more then 54 million Americans are struggling to put food on the table – that includes about 18 million children.
“Through Rock For Relief, we hope to make even a small impact and help our fellow Americans,” the non-profit organization added.
Every dollar donated to Feeding America helps secure and distribute 10 meals to people facing hunger, according to Feeding America.
