The evening started when Ramona invited Eboni over so the two could have a relaxing night and learn more about each other.

A few minutes into Eboni’s arrival, she started quizzing Ramona over what she thought of the potential US 2020 presidential election results and what they might meant for their future.

‘I don’t want to talk politics,’ said Ramona. ‘Lets just have a nice evening.’

Ramona tried to share with Eboni that she was attempting to educate herself on the issues and that since the Hamptons that she looked up ‘micro aggression’ and told Eboni that she had ‘opened up my mind.’

Eboni steered the conversation back to politics and the election and that got Ramona talking about the mail-in ballots.

She was flustered and quickly changed the subject telling Eboni again that she didn’t want to talk politics.

Eboni wanted to know why she didn’t think it was historic that there might be a first woman vice president.

‘I feel like you are teaching me, preaching to me, I don’t know,’ said Ramona. ‘I’m walking away for a minute and I’m going to come back.’

In her confessional, Ramona said it ‘just feels like she wants to ram something down my throat.’

Ramona told Eboni that she just wanted to have fun, but Eboni said that ‘was just the white fragility.’ Then Ramona accused Eboni of preaching to her and Eboni accused her of gaslighting.

‘Ramona that is who I am,’ said Eboni.

‘Well, then you need to back off,’ said Ramona.

She also told her that the other women confided in her that they didn’t want to be educated by Eboni either.

‘You are too heavy for me right now,’ Ramona told Eboni. ‘This is too serious of a conversation. I just want to enjoy my life and escape for 24 hours.’

Eboni told her ‘I’m glad you can do that, that you are privileged to do that, but I can’t. …Do you have a coat closet for my blackness, Ramona?’

Eboni said the night was a ‘s*** show’, but that maybe they found some common ground to build a friendship after all.

The episode titled ‘Harlem Nights’ started with Eboni hosting the ladies for an educational night in Harlem to teach them about the people and culture of Harlem.

She said in a confessional that she wanted to show them her world.

The event was at a speakeasy in Harlem and from the start the women had trouble navigating the metal grate stairs in their heels to the basement level establishment.

Eboni started with a mixology class where the bartender taught them how to make signature cocktails.

The party took place 24-hours after the election and Eboni said the ‘elephant in the room is that we really don’t know who our next president is going to be.’

Ramona brought her friend Bershan to meet the group and Sonja Morgan, 57, said she noticed that Ramona was ‘on her best behavior.’

Eboni started by giving each of the women a gift, a candle.

She then assigned each woman a particular icon from the Harlem renaissance and said that all their assignments ‘as you might imagine it has been with intention.’

Leah McSweeney, 38, said in a confessional that Eboni had planned on educating the group, but that ‘I’m pretty sure that the women are not into history.’

Sonja said in her confessional that she wasn’t surprised that Eboni’s night was about history.

‘Of course she is going to suck the air out of the room and take the moment to speak about her work,’ she said. ‘If you don’t like it you better not show up because that is what you are going to get.’

Ramona said in her confessional that she wished that Eboni gave her a schedule of what was going to happen.

‘We have had enough, can we just eat now,’ she said.

Leah said she couldn’t understand that Eboni couldn’t see that this night wasn’t going well.

Rough night: Eboni did her best to educate and entertain, but it was challenging

Bershan started to clash with Eboni and said they were the same, but Eboni said she was feeling very undermined in her confessional.

Eboni said Bershan was giving off those ‘all lives matter’ vibes.

Bershan told Leah that after surviving cancer she doesn’t care what people think about her anymore and noted that she used to be a ‘people pleaser.’

Ramona left the event early and said it was because of her vertigo.

After Ramona left, the women’s conversation transgressed to small penis and whether they would break up with a man who had one.

‘I’ve got to have full sexual satisfaction, I really do,’ said Eboni.

At the end of the night, she thanked the women for coming to Harlem.

The next day Leah met Eboni at The Chop House.

Eboni wanted to know what Leah thought of the party. Leah said she loved having conversations with her black friends about race, but also that Eboni should be aware of her power and could be a little intimidating.

Leah said she didn’t want Eboni to feel that it was her job to educate the women.

Back at Luann’s house, she met with her daughter Victoria and they bonded over their sobriety.

Luann said her father had a drinking problem and she was now connecting the dots, while Victoria said she just wanted her mother to be honest and recognize what she had done.
