Real Housewives Of Dallas star D’Andra Simmons has been hospitalised after testing positive for coronavirus.
The 50-year-old reality star is said to be in a Texas hospital after her oxygen levels were found to be ‘borderline’, according to reports made by People.
‘D’Andra Simmons has tested positive for Covid and has been admitted to the Covid ward at UT Southwestern Hospital in Texas,’ D’Andra’s rep told the publication.
‘ Her oxygen levels were borderline and she will start remdesivir. At this time we ask you to respect her and her family’s privacy and to send your prayers for a speedy recovery.’
On Saturday, D’Andra shared a family photo on Instagram after celebrating Christmas.
‘This year I’m extra thankful for my family, friends, and the two newest fur babies to join the Simmons-Lock household!’ she captioned the picture.
‘Also, thank you to my #hotthubby @jeremytlock for my beautiful @chanelofficial bag! I guess I was a good girl after all.
‘I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful holiday. Merry Christmas!’
Real Housewives star Jennifer Davis Long reportedly sent her well wishes to D’Andra following news of hospitalisation in a now-deleted Instagram Story.
‘Please pray for [D’Andra Simmons],’ she wrote. ‘She has COVID, is in ICU on Oxygen.’
Fellow cast member Cary Deuber, meanwhile, had her coronavirus vaccine today.
‘It was fine, it didn’t even really hurt,’ she revealed in a video moments after having her jab. ‘So far so good. Also, we’re not dead yet.’
