On Monday’s Lorraine Ranvir Singh made a cheeky jibe at her Strictly Come Dancing partner Giovanni Pernice.
And 24 hours on, the presenter admitted she sent a flirty follow-up text to the dancer after the comment hit headlines.
Ranvir is making her presenting debut on Lorraine this week, and Giovanni, who she has sparked romance rumours with, wished her luck during Monday’s show.

But the star was left distracted during the surprise video message, noticing the hunky dancer’s racy attire.
‘Was it only me he noticed he wasn’t wearing anything under that cardi?’ she quipped on the show.
On Tuesday Good Morning Britain’s Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins questioned their co-star on the comment when she appeared via video link ahead of Lorraine.
Charlotte asked: ‘You had a bit of a special message yesterday, but I think it was the choice of outfit that caught your eye, wasn’t it?’

Ranvir looked red-faced as she revealed she had later sent Giovanni a cheeky message after the show.
‘I don’t know what you’re talking about, Charlotte – yesterday was another day. Today’s a new day!’ she replied. ‘I noticed he had a lovely kitchen, that’s what I noticed.
‘I text him: “You’ve got a lovely kitchen and you’re alright too'” and he said: “Shade” – quite rightly.’
Teasing Ranvir, Adil then quipped about the pair’s closeness, telling her: ‘Nice to see you’re still keeping in touch outside of the professional world…’

On Sunday night Ranvir shared an Instagram photo of the pair embracing, writing: ‘Just thought I’d share with you my last official @bbcstrictly photo with my partner @pernicegiovann1 .. as I get ready for bed before hosting @lorraine tomorrow.
‘What can I say that hasn’t already been said..? An extraordinary experience, with a beautiful passionate dancer, that has no doubt seen us both grow.. so so proud of the dances we performed.

The television personality, who confirmed her split from husband Ranjeet Singh Dehal just before her Strictly stint, revealed on last week’s Lorraine that there will be a bond between her and Gio for life.
‘I think it’s because he had to find out a lot about me that went beyond just learning a routine and vice versa really,’ she gushed.

After their semi-final exit from Strictly earlier this month Ranvir broke down in tears after Giovanni praised their ‘strong connection.’
The broadcaster gushed that she still ‘adores’ the professional dancer and she hopes to ‘stay friends’ with him, following repeated rumours about an off-screen romance between the pair.
Speaking on last week’s Good Morning Britain, Ranvir told Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid Ranvir said that Giovanni was a massive boost when it came to improving her confidence, saying: ‘He doesn’t accept anything less than what he thinks you can do. He’s very challenging, he’s so driven.
‘If you’re on his time you’re duty bound to be as driven as him. I found that very challenging. He had to change the way he was teaching me because I found it very difficult.

The presenter even gave the pro a tender kiss on the cheek as he reflected on watching her grow into a ‘different person’ as she learned to dance.
Ranvir struggled to contain her emotions as Giovanni praised her, saying: ‘You really feel like a different person and as a teacher that’s everything I can ask for.
‘This show’s a dance competition but it’s not all about that, and that’s the reason, I think, she maybe deserved a place in the final.’
The Italian added that he and Ranvir share a ‘strong connection’ and they hope to keep dancing when the series is over.

During their time on Strictly, the pair did little to stop rumours of a romance, with Giovanni at one point heard calling his partner ‘baby’ during one live show.
The Italian dancer was heard whispering ‘come on baby’ in the TV presenter’s ear as they twirled across the dance floor during their Viennese Waltz.
The unheard moment was picked up by Giovanni’s microphone during the dance, with BBC Strictly’s Twitter page.
Meanwhile following their intimate Argentine tango, cheeky Ranvir quipped that the hunky Italian ‘knows me better than my own GP now’.

But Ranvir has repeatedly insisted that the steamy performances the couple have put on during Strictly are just for the cameras.
She said on Good Morning Britain: ‘It’s quite funny isn’t it? I’ve watched the show before and you want to believe in the dream.
‘That’s part of the magic of Strictly. It’s make believe, it’s fantasy it’s beautiful.’
Host Piers Morgan joked he thinks romance is blooming between the pair, saying: ‘Let the record show I’ve asked about the hand holding pics and there’s no denial. I’m looking at the pics and I just think, 2+2=4’.
But the Strictly contestant responded: ‘I think you should stick to words, you’re rubbish at maths.’
