On her Instagram posts, the ‘Icy Girl’ hitmaker opens up about everything that goes wrong on her 26th birthday, but her mood soon turns positive after her boyfriend Quavo comes with the birthday surprise for her.
AceShowbiz –Saweetie had everything pretty much arranged on the day she turned 26 on Tuesday, July 2, but things didn’t go as planned. The 26-year-old singer/rapper recently took to Instagram to lament everything that went wrong on her special day.
“What i ordered vs what i got [angry emoji],” she wrote in a caption of a side-by-side photo of a sleek-styled wig that she ordered and a puffy style that she got. “Hey y’all …. so I’ve had the craziest bday ever. EVERYTHING went wrong.”
She went on sharing that she also missed a performance that day, referring to her gig as an opener for Doja Cat. “Didn’t get the right hair… didn’t have a bday fit… missed a performance… I’ll explain later,” she continued, adding that she still had things that she was grateful though. “but s**t a bih alive and that’s what I’m thankful for thank you for all the birthday wishes !!!” she told her fans and followers.
But it wasn’t all that made Saweetie extra cheerful on her 26th birthday. The “Icy Girl” hitmaker seemed to have forgotten all the unfortunate things that happened to her earlier that day after her boyfriend Quavo came with a birthday surprise. The Migos member organized a surprise birthday party and gave her a huge diamond necklace as a birthday present.
Quavo took to Instagram Stories to share pictures and videos from the party. Saweetie was all smiles in the video. She looked dazzling in her pink sequin top as she rocked the massive chain that reads, “Icy,” seemingly paying homage to her hit song. The party had the same theme, with pink balloons decorating the venue.
He also wished her a happy birthday with a sweet message on Instagram. “1 2 : 0 0 am L O N D O N July 2nd H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y To My Beautiful Lady I Love You!!! You Are Most Definitely M Y T Y P E @saweetie,” he wrote along with a picture of him performing on stage and photos of him with his girl.
Saweetie later thanked Quavo for saving the day. “Sorry for being a brat when I didn’t like my hair and almost cancelled the night. you really had me thinking we was going to eat crab legs and pulled off the dopest surprise party,” she wrote along with pictures from the birthday party. “I was already sad to spend my bday away from home thank you for saving my holiday and making it so special love you cho.”
