Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are taking their marriage one day at a time!
As you know, these two wasted no time taking their relationship to the next level by getting married after dating for just a few short months.
Now that the ink is dry on their nuptials and the lavish parties are (finally) over, the newly minted Jonas’ revealed that their journey together is still just beginning!
The Quantico star opened up about it to Us Weekly exclusively at the Isn’t It Romantic premiere in El Lay on Monday. With her doting husband by her side, she told the publication,
“We haven’t changed , strangely, because we’re still navigating being — because we didn’t even date for a long time — we’re navigating getting to know each other. It’s just magical because every day is like a new feeling and a new day and you’re learning something new.”
This totally makes sense. They’re still in the honeymoon phase, after all!
But wait — speaking of something new, is Nick considering a stint the big screen? His wifey hinted at possibly collaborating on projects together in the future, saying:
“I’m pretty sure we will! I don’t know how, but I’m pretty sure we will. We’re creative people and paths are bound to cross.”
Inneresting! In the meantime, the couple is gearing up for a very special first Valentine’s Day as husband and wife. The stars really aligned for these two, as Chopra explained to ET on the red carpet:
“We were not even supposed to be in the same city together, but we’re both in London now coincidentally, so yeah, it should be special.”
Aww, sweet!
And if things go as well as it sounds, we may have to get our baby bump watch started. The actress admits that she and Nick are definitely on the same page about starting a family together soon:
“We both know that’s something that needs to happen, but it’s not something I think about very much. We’re both very driven, we love our work, we’re married to our work, and we’re both very supportive of each other’s work, so I’m sure it will happen in an organic way.”
Ahh, potentially following right in the footsteps of her expecting bestie Meghan Markle?! How exciting!!
