Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice were spotted looking cheerful as they attended the Bahrain Grand Prix with their husbands.
Royal sisters Beatrice, 33, and Eugenie, 31, attended the event with husbands Jack Brooksbank, 35 and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 38, with the family looking smart at the Formula 1 racing event.
Beatrice, who welcomed daughter Sienna last year, opted for a pink floral midi dress, which featured puff sleeves and a collar, which she accessorised with a brown belt and her hair worn in a half up-do.
The royal’s property developer spouse Edoardo, was beaming as he looked smart in a pale blue shirt and black jacket, with an arm around his wife’s waist.
Her sister Eugenie also opted for a floral dress, choosing to wear a colourful print frock along with a cream jacket and rust-coloured handbag perched on her shoulder.
The princess opted for comfort as she wore a pair of white trainers with her outfit.
Jack Brooksbank, Eugenie's husband, also cut a relaxed look in a light navy coat and a pair of sunglasses perched on his head.
The couple also welcomed a child last year, a son called August, in February 2021.
The sisters’ status as non-working royals means they can enjoy a slightly freer lifestyle than royals who undertake official duties, such as Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Eugenie and Jack were spotted in California last month as they made a visit to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Eugenie wasalso pictured seated side by side with her 37 year old cousin Harryas they watched the Super Bowl on Sunday, 13 February, alongside celebs including Kanye West with his children Saint and North, and J Lo with beau Ben Affleck.
As the princesses enjoy their own careers and do not work for the monarchy, they don’t receive money from the Sovereign Grant – funds the government paysthe Queeneach year out of Crown Estate profits.
Although Beatrice and Eugenie are exempt from this cash, and aren’t working royals, there’s a reason why they can still use their HRH titles.
Their right to use HRH is protected under the Letters Patent issued by King George V in 1917.
It states that the children of the Sovereign may use the titles Prince and Princess and HRH.
The children of the sons of the monarch can use the titles too – like Charles’ sons William and Harry, who were both given the titles when they were born.
Despite their HRH titles, Beatrice and Eugenie’s status within the family means they don’t need to meet the same standards as senior members like Kate Middleton.
However, the princesses still make an appearance in major public events and are likely to be part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, taking place in June.
