Prince Philip Moved to Private Hospital After Heart Surgery

Prince Philip is on the mend.

The 99-year-old royal underwent a successful heart procedure for a pre-existing condition on Wednesday (March 3), and he is now recovering at a private hospital.

“Following the Duke of Edinburgh’s successful procedure at St Bartholomew’s Hospital on Wednesday, His Royal Highness has been transferred to King Edward VII’s Hospital this morning,” the Palace confirmed Friday (March 5).

“The Duke is expected to remain in hospital for continuing treatment for a number of days.”

No other details about the 99-year-old royal’s condition have been revealed at this time. The Palace has been regularly updating the public about his condition.

Prince Philip was initially hospitalized two weeks ago after feeling unwell. The Palace released a statement about his infection one week ago.

We’re wishing Prince Philip well and hope he feels 100% soon!
