Prince Harry Wants to Know How Much Sleep He’ll Get When the Royal Baby Arrives

Prince Harry got into dad mode today during his solo visit to the YMCA in South Ealing, London. While dropping by a dance class for young children, he stopped to talk to a mother and her three-month-old baby, Naz, seated at the side of the room. Harry, who is expecting his first child with Meghan Markle in a matter of weeks, gave us a sneak peek at his life as a father when he crouched down to the infant’s eye level and shared a sweet moment with her. He even got her to smile.

“He was so excited and happy about the baby,” Naz’s mom, Maria Ahmad, said of Harry, per royal correspondent Omid Scobie. During their exchange, the Duke of Sussex seemed curious about a certain aspect of parenting: the sleep schedule.

“He was asking about her sleeping — I think he’s worried about that — and if she sleeps at night time,” Ahmad added.

Harry and Meghan might be in for a few sleepless nights after they welcome baby Sussex, who is reportedly due at the end of April. Harry’s brother, Prince William, is no stranger to post-baby fatigue. The father of three looked quite tired while attending a royal event days after he and Kate Middleton welcomed their third child, Prince Louis.

Prince Harry has reportedly lightened his workload so he can spend time with Meghan as they prepare to expand their family. Hopefully the parents-to-be are getting as much sleep as possible now, while they still can.
