Months later in May, Jessie hinted that the 38-year-old veteran pro athlete is the first partner she’s been ‘properly in love’ with.

When appearing on The Diary of a CEO podcast, the Flashlight hitmaker teased fans about her love life but kept the details private.

Jessie was asked by host Steven Bartlett how many times she’d been truly in love and she replied ‘once’, answering in the present tense, hinting she saw her future settled with Chanan.

She continued: ‘Because I can actually see my life with that person and I’ve never had that before.’

From the heart: Posting to Instagram on Saturday, Jessie said: ‘It feels so strange to be on this side after being told I would never get pregnant, to pregnancy loss to then being pregnant’

Looking for more details, Steven said: ‘sounds recent?’, she grinned: ‘Maybe it is.’ but cheekily added: ‘Maybe it isn’t. Who knows? Hint.’

Jessie and Chanan have not gone red carpet official, nor have they confirmed if they are still together.

Jessie’s exciting news comes after she previously revealed in November 2021 that she had suffered a devastating miscarriage after falling pregnant with her first child.

The singer took to Instagram to reveal she had been told she had tragically lost her unborn baby after going for her third scan, where doctors were unable to find a heartbeat.

Jessie told followers she had ‘decided to have a baby on my own’, after revealing in October she had split from her boyfriend of seven months Max Pham.

The grieving songstress said she was ‘still in shock’ but has decided to perform in Los Angeles later that week ‘because singing will help me’.

Expecting: She showcased her growing baby bump in a sweet video shared to Instagram on Friday that documented the different stages of her pregnancy

‘Thinking about today and the overwhelming amount of love and support I am feeling. I can’t help but think about all the women and men still struggling with loss and infertility.

‘It feels so strange to be on this side after being told I would never get pregnant, to pregnancy loss to then being pregnant and how quickly it is all happening.

‘My mind hasn’t fully processed that it’s actually happening some days which is why I kept it quiet for so long.

‘The anxiety in the beginning was overwhelming and I felt like I had my eyes closed just hoping it all would continue to go well. Which in moments I still very much have whilst allowing myself to feel the joy and celebration of this experience.’

‘I don’t even know what my point is tbh.’

She continued: ‘I just am still with you and I haven’t forgotten about any of it. I still want to hug anyone struggling.

‘I don’t take a second of this for granted and continue to pray for a safe landing of this magical baby everyday.

‘I know I have been blessed with the biggest gift I will ever receive and I pray more than anything you get yours. However that looks. Love you.’
