Piers Morgan’s son Spencer Morgan has gifted him with a cardboard cut-out of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for Christmas. The 29-year-old joked he thought he “smashed” his choice of present for his dad this year following his rage about the pair’s controversial Netflix documentary.
The cardboard cut-out is a picture of the couple following their engagement announcement in 2017.
Twitter users flocked to his post to share their thoughts, with some pointing out that Spencer had shared a picture of the item in 2020.
At the time, he wrote: “Sometimes I wonder why my parents got divorced, then I find stuff like this in my mum’s house.”
Spencer is Piers’ eldest of three sons with his ex-wife Marion Shalloe who he was married to for 17 years.
Since 2010, he has been married to Celia Walden, the mother of his 11-year-old daughter Elise.
The cardboard cut-out has regained attention today from many including Gary Lineker’s son George.
“Don’t think he’ll have to wait for Christmas to see it either haha,” he commented.
Stephen Jones wrote: “Brilliant lol.”
Margaretheald76 commented: “Hahaha he’s gonna love it.”
Pacey typed: “He loves them really.”
Piers has been very opinionated about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex over the years, but most recently about their Netflix documentary.
The six-part series gives viewers an insight into their life before and after they left the Royal Family and what they have dealt with along the way.

After the trailer was dropped for the pair’s latest episodes released today, Piers branded the pair “poisonous rats”.
His comment came after Prince Harry said of his family in the clip: “They were happy to lie to protect my brother, but they were never willing to tell the truth to protect us.”
Meghan went on to say: “I wasn’t being thrown to the wolves, I was being fed to the wolves.”
Addressing their decision to leave the Royal Family in 2020, he added: “This was a fight worth fighting for.”
In response to the trailer, Piers wrote: “King Charles needs to strip these two poisonous rats of all remaining titles & ties to the Royal Family… and needs to do it fast before they destroy the Monarchy.”
The couple, who married in 2018, still hold their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles, but are no longer addressed as His/Her Royal Highness.
In the trailer, Harry goes on to say that he wondered what would’ve happened to them if they hadn’t decided to leave when they did.
Meghan also alleges that their security was “pulled” and that “everyone in the world knew where we were”.
