Peter Andre has taken drastic steps to rid himself of certain memories from the past.
The Mysterious Girl crooner admitted he’s thrown out all of the souvenirs he kept from his time on I’m A Celebrity – where he met now ex wife Katie Price.
Peter and Katie fell in love on camera back in 2004 on the third ever series of the ITV show.
After finishing third in the competition Pete kept hold of his jungle uniform, which he had been wearing the first time he met Katie, as a special memento.
But Peter, 45, has now revealed he’s chucked it away after moving into a new family home with second wife Emily, 29.
The dad told Daily Star’s TV Life Magazine: "I did (keep it), for a long time, but when I moved I got rid of it."
Peter did say that he had some ‘great memories’ of being on the show.
"I really enjoyed my time on the series – when I went into it the only person I had heard of was Johnny Rotten and I was worried he would be trouble. But he wasn’t! He was lovely," said Peter.
Peter and Emily are gearing up for Christmas at home with children Amelia, four and Theo, two.
Speaking to the Mirror , Peter revealed that although his eldest kids Junior, 13, and Princess, 11, will be with mum Katie on the big day he was still planning to do something special when they returned.
"We always do it where if it’s not my year we’ll just do it the day I have them. It’s fine. You know, it’s great and I am absolutely sure they will have a wonderful time and they should."
Peter might be staying at home this Christmas, but he’s planning a trip to Australia to visit his parents in the new year, and he says he’s hoping to take as many of his kids with him as possible.
