Brittany Matthews didn’t seem particularly concerned about the ongoing pandemic as she attended an opulent baby shower thrown for her by her fiancé Patrick Mahomes’ family.
The 25-year-old fitness trainer looked overjoyed in photos from the party she shared to her Instagram Stories on Saturday.
Missing from the event was the 25-year-old Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, who was playing against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

Brittany shared a photo from an airport tarmac in Texas, where Patrick’s family lives, as she celebrated her friends for making the journey.
‘Thanks to my gals for going to TX to shower baby girl & I,’ she captioned a photo of herself next to a small plane’s wing.
She wore a white crop top with chocolate sweatpants that showed part of her burgeoning tummy, which her friends gathered around and cradled.
The future football wife also tried to preemptively assuage the anger from followers and social media users that she would have multiple people travel and have a large public gathering as COVID-19 cases are spiking to alarming levels throughout the US.

‘Everyone has quarantined and been COVID tested for my baby shower,’ she claimed in the same photo. ‘Thankful to have amazing close friends & family that will stay safe for the sake of me & baby girl!’

The outfit featured a plunging neckline and the ruched skirt had a high slit to showcase her toned legs.
She paired the dress with a pointy pair of glittering heels, and she wore her long blonde tresses in thick girls draped down her shoulders.
