Clive Owen admits he had ‘huge part’ to play in Amanda split
Reuben Owen, the charming farmer son of Amanda Owen and her ex Clive, has attracted plenty of attention in recent months.
Experts have speculated to MailOnline that he could carve out a TV career for himself, on the likes of I’m A Celebrity or Dancing On Ice.
The 19-year-old is Amanda’s eldest son of her nine children – and this weekend, the star-in-the-making shared a sweet photo of himself and his mum together, which delighted fans.
Reuben, who has already accumulated an impressive 74,000 followers thanks to his public appearances on Our Yorkshire Farm, shared the gruelling-looking lifestyle of a young farmer in his latest post too, picturing his tractor ploughing through mud.
“Few recent pictures,” he captioned the Instagram carousel, while also revealing that he’s been indulging in a spot of biking.
Alongside video footage of bike stunts, including jumping over water from one grassy verge to another, a helmet-clad Reuben posed with his 49-year-old mother.

That was the picture that had fans enthused, with one, @lostlnlove, praisng: “Working hard as always but having fun too! Appreciate the pic of you and your Mum, hope she is doing ok, please pass on love!”
@chunky_unk added: “Nice to see your mum smiling,” referring to Amanda, after her 22-year marriage to Reuben’s father Clive ended.
Reuben had subsequently joined a TV show with his father, called Beyond The Yorkshire Farm, which saw him and his dad set up a digging business.
The star is more than qualified for the challenging work on the farm, having learnt how to plough and birth lambs at a very early age, thanks to his famous parents’ background.

He had joined the show, together with best friend Tom and his girlfriend Sarah Dow, before Clive made the shock announcement.
Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine in the spring, he’d confirmed that he may be “stepping back” from television roles altogether.
“We’ve done this thing with Reuben – it’s been great fun working with him because he’s crazy too,” joked Clive, explaining he’d had a “grand time” with him.
However, he went to add: “I think I’m stepping back from that now. I think he’s gonna go on on his own, because he doesn’t want me on his hands.
“I have no plans to do anything in particular, but you never know, someone might be daft enough to ask me.”
Meanwhile, Reuben’s Instagram profile describes him as running “a groundwork and plant hire business”, with most of his published pictures involving tractors and farming equipment in some way.
However, back in June, he did upload a photo of himself riding a horse, joking: “Bit different to driving the digger!”
