Olivia Wilde GUSHES over boyfriend Harry Styles and praises him for accepting a ‘supporting role’ in her movie Don’t Worry Darling: ‘He jumped on board with humility and grace’
Olivia Wilde had high praise for boyfriend Harry Styles as she paid tribute to the stars of her movie Don’t Worry Darling this week.
After production wrapped on her psychological horror movie, director Wilde, 36, shared some of her favorite movie-making memories to Instagram, including a post dedicated to her new boyfriend.
On Monday, the filmmaker wrote about how she admired Styles, 27, for accepting a supporting role alongside a female lead, when many male actors would avoid it, while gushing about the heartthrob’s ‘talent’, ‘warmth’ and ‘grace’.

‘Little known fact: most male actors don’t want to play supporting roles in female-led films.’ Wilde began her post.
‘The industry has raised them to believe it lessens their power (i.e financial value) to accept these roles, which is one of the reasons it’s so hard to get financing for movies focusing on female stories.’ she continued.
‘No joke, it is harrrrrd to find actors who recognize why it might be worth it to allow for a woman to hold the spotlight.’
The tribute was accompanied by a black and white snap of the former One Direction member suited up and sitting atop a vintage convertible in Palm Springs.

In a separate post Wilde praised her female lead, Florence Pugh, calling her ‘talented and brave’ and writing, ‘Can’t wait for the world to see the astonishing work you’ve put into this movie.’
Wilde directed and also stars in the 1950s-set psychological horror, which also stars Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne and Chris Pine.
Wilde and Styles were first romantically linked after they were seen holding hands at his agent’s wedding in Montecito, California, last month.

A source told DailyMail.com that the new couple stayed together at James Corden’s house near Palm Springs during filming, where they were able to ‘be alone and keep their relationship very secret.’
And it seems that things may be getting serious between the Drinking Buddies star and English pop icon, as sources told The Sun last month that they were preparing to move in together.
On Valentine’s Day, Wilde was pictured moving some belongings out of the home she shared with Sudeikis, 45, in Silver Lake, Los Angeles.
Styles is known to have a home in the Hollywood Hills, where the new couple were spotted together in early January.

Their blossoming relationship first emerged just months after Wilde and her fiance of seven years Jason Sudeikis, 45, announced that they had called it quits in November.
Wilde and Sudeikis got together in 2011 and welcomed two children, Otis, six, and Daisy, four, before they broke their engagement last year.
Although their separation only went public in November a People source has alleged: ‘The split happened at the beginning of the year.’
Last month, an Us Weekly source said Sudeikis hopes ‘that this is just a phase and that Olivia will snap out of it or that Harry will get bored and move on before too long.’
The insider claimed that the former SNL star is ‘desperate’ to ‘repair their family’ by finding a way to rekindle his romance with Wilde.
