Noah Cyrus and her new rapper boyfriend Lil Xan have broken up after accusing each other of cheating.
It all began when Lil Xan, whose real name is Diego Leanos, wrote, “I feel like I’m probably being cheated on,” on his Instagram story Monday. The post has since been deleted, but Cyrus responded to it, confirming that he accused her of cheating.
Cyrus said their fight began after she sent him a meme of Charlie Puth’s face photoshopped onto a porn star’s body.
“Im heartbroken and confused,” she wrote alongside the photo. “This is the meme i sent diego that made him think im cheating on him.”
Cyrus then turned to Instagram Live, where she cried and apologized to her fans for the “confusing” situation between her and her now ex-boyfriend.
“I’ll try to explain it more in the next couple of days,” she added, before saying, “I never did anything that I’m getting accused of.”
Still crying, Cyrus implored her fans to “get away from every f–king person that goes into your life and just crushes it and crumbles it and makes you feel like a piece of f–king s–t.”
She also talked to her fans about the concept of gaslighting, when a person in a relationship can make the other feel like they were the one causing all of the problems.
“Don’t let men do that to you,” she added.
Elaborating on this, Cyrus then accused Lil Xan of cheating on her, sharing a photo of him with a hickey from another girl. “Cheaters like to accuse their partners of cheating to make themselves feel less guilt,” she wrote on her Instagram story.
Lil Xan turned to his Instagram story to talk about the split, telling fans the music video for “Live or Die,” his song with Cyrus, wouldn’t be coming out anytime soon — if at all.
“I’ve just been informed that basically it’s all fake and I’m being used. So f–k it,” he said. “I guess I was just being used. I thought I was in love but whatever. I’ll take that L. Heartbreak soldier; thanks, Noah. Hope the song does well.”
He also explained his side of the breakup, saying, “I broke up with Noah because she was all over some other dude.”
He also posted a video of himself apparently urinating on the platinum record for his song “Betrayed.”
“THIS PLAQUE MEANS NOTHING MY FANS MEAN EVERYTHING,” he wrote.
He’s also deleted all photos he’d posted of him and Cyrus during their one month together from his Instagram page.
