Nicole Kidman has revealed that one scene between herself and her Big Little Lies co-star Meryl Streep got all too real.

Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday, the Australian actress, 53, explained that she was working on the second season of the HBO series with Meryl, 71, who plays her mother-in-law, when an awkward incident occurred.

In one heated scene, Nicole’s character, Celeste, slaps Meryl’s character, Mary Louise, across the face – but Nicole’s aim was a little off, and she wound up slapping the glasses right off her poor co-star’s face by accident.
