‘It took my heart and put it into flames’: Lady Chatterley’s Lover has got Netflix fans feeling very hot under the collar

Netflix fans were left hot under the collar after watching the 2022 film adaptation of the 1928 novel.

They warned people not to watch the streaming service’s movie with their family- as it is extremely risque.

The film follows Lady Constance Chatterley (Emma Corrin) and gamekeeper Oliver Mellors (Jack O’Connell).

In the movie, famed for its raunchy scenes, Lady Chatterley finds her sex life in tatters when her husband Sir Clifford returns from war injured and unable to have sex.

The trailer begins with a scene depicting Lady Chatterley’s wedding to her ailing husband Sir Clifford [Matthew Duckett] before moving into his country estate.

As Lady Chatterley longs for a more all-consuming relationship, she finds herself on the Mellors’ doorstep – after spotting him standing nude in his garden.

He invites her in and so begins the start of their passionate affair.

Snippets of scenes in the new trailer show barely-clothed Connie and Mellors rolling around in a field as she mounts him in one particularly saucy moment.

Teasing their fiery relationship, Lady Chatterley says: ‘Such tenderness. I didn’t say you were gentle. I’ve had enough of gentlemen.’

As their passion grows, Lady Chatterley’s husband only becomes more suspicious and demands to know where she has been in one scene.

Taking to Twitter, one person penned: ‘So…Lady Chatterley’s Lover… Netflix. Don’t watch with your parents or kids. Enjoy.’
