Terrified viewers of Netflix horror Hellhole claim they were so shaken by the show they were unable to get the movie out their heads ‘weeks’.

The Polish language film, released by the streaming giant last year, and is set in the country in 1987.

It tells the gripping story of a police officer who is investigating mysterious disappearances.

The cop infiltrates a remote monastery before uncovering the dark truth about its clergy.

And many viewers of the frightening flick took to Twitter to express just how disturbed they were after watching, with some saying they could not get it out of their head.

One person wrote: ‘It’s been over two weeks since I’ve watched Hellhole on Netflix and it’s stuck in my brain!’

While another person wrote: ‘Watch Hellhole on Netflix. Slow burner but what an ending! Partner couldn’t last though it, it was too gross.’

‘I just finished Hellhole on Netflix and I’m sitting here thinking about it. It held my attention but wtf did I just watch?,’ asked another viewer.

It comes after other Netflix viewers were left terrified after watching a technology thriller they described as the ‘scariest’ film ever.

Fans took to Twitter to share their nail-biting reactions to South Korean mystery movie Unlocked, which debuted on the streaming platform in February.

The tense thriller sees a woman’s life completely turned upside down when a dangerous man uses her lost phone to track her every move.

Viewers were left completely terrified by the eerie movie, with fans deeming the film to be one of the ‘scariest’ things they had watched in a long time.

One person even said they wanted to ‘throw their phone into the sea’ after being left very unsettled by the horrifying events.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: ‘Have you watch the kmovie UNLOCKED on Netflix. Digital footprint is scary.’

Meanwhile, another shared their reaction, adding: ‘So creepy.. Luckily I watched in daytime.’

Spyware: Directed by Kim Tae-joon, the film sees Lee Na-Mi (Chun Woo-Hee) lose her phone on a bus, with Oh Jun-Yeong (Im Si-Wan) picking it up and installing spyware on it to track her

Directed by Kim Tae-joon, the film sees office worker Lee Na-Mi (Chun Woo-Hee) lose her phone on a bus, with Oh Jun-Yeong (Im Si-Wan) picking it up. 

Jun-Yeong then tells her to pick up her phone at a repair shop under the pretense of fixing her broken screen, but instead installs spyware on to the device to track her every move, text and conversation.

Jun-Yeong starts to infiltrate Na-Mi’s life, with her father growing suspicious of him, while Jun-Yeong then pretends to work at a software company and says he will try to help her with the spyware.

Jun-Yeong then leaks confidential information about Na-Mi, while still deceiving her into thinking he isn’t the culprit and things quickly take a very dark turn.
