Model Elena Matei is beautiful enough for Guess and for Russell James’ prestigious “Angels,” but she isn’t “notable” enough for Wikipedia.
The Elite Model was denied her own page in the online encyclopedia after unpaid volunteer editors decided the Moldovan beauty was not worthy. “It’s an incredibly corrupt, unsupervised system,” Joe DiRosa, who regularly submits subjects to Wikipedia, told me. “One administrator blocked 27,300 people from Wikipedia and only reinstated 169 of them.”
DiRosa said, “You have people deciding who gets published or who gets deleted with absolutely no knowledge of the fields they are editing.
Wikipedia used to be open and relatively easy to use, but these guys are making it impossible.”
