Mischa Barton puts on leggy display in navy blue mini dress after grabbing groceries at Trader Joe’s in LA

Mischa Barton put on a leggy display in a short blue minidress after she grabbed groceries at Trader Joe’s in Los Angeles on Monday. 

The 36-year-old actress showed off her powerful thighs and calves below the dress that ended high on her legs. 

She wore a white, red and white shawl high on her shoulders over a sweater with long sleeves that nearly reached the middle of her palms.

She walked in tall brown boots and carried several bags with her including a brown paper Trader Joe’s bag. 

Her dirty blonde locks were parted in the middle and fell in straight waves down the sides of her face. 

She slung a white and blue sweater over her left arm though it seemed to be too hot underneath the California sun to wear it.

But she found overnight superstardom as Marissa Cooper on the mid-aughts series The OC.

She returned to the spotlight in recent years by appearing in the first season of The Hills reboot, The Hills: New Beginnings.

Many of the other original cast members returned to the new version of the teen drama including Heidi Montag and her husband Spencer Pratt, Whitney Port and Brody Jenner.

Mischa explained before the first season premiered how she had rejoined the show in a hope to control her own narrative.

‘I think there has always been a lot of mystery around me. It’s fun to allow people to actually see me!,’ she told Glamour.

‘There really was a time when I couldn’t do anything or get away with anything or even leave the house without having to really think it through,’ she added.

Her new movie, Invitation to a Murder, is currently in post-production
