Miley Cyrus makes dishwashing gloves fashion for WSJ. photoshoot… and reveals she has only washed her hair for TWO guests on Instagram chat show

She had several A-list guests on her short-lived quarantine Instagram Live chat show including Reese Witherspoon, Selena Gomez, and Amy Schumer.

But Miley Cyrus revealed that there were only two guests that were worthy of her breaking out the shampoo and conditioner for.

The 27-year-old singer was featured on the cover of the most recent issue WSJ. Magazine and accompanying interview with Derek Blasberg.

In it she talked plenty about her Bright Minded: Live With Miley livestreamed interview show which she did entirely herself a few weeks ago and even revealed there were only two guests she washed her hair for.

Despite wearing dishwashing gloves seemingly to shed light on the importance of cleanliness during the COVID-19 pandemic in the accompanying photoshoot, Miley only deemed it necessary to have freshly scrubbed hair for a duo of lucky guests.

She explained:  ‘It’s been important for me to be wearing what everyone else is wearing at home. I’m in my sweatpants and a topknot, just like everyone else.

Green with envy: She was also featured on the cover of the monthly publication

‘I’ve only washed my hair twice for the show: once for Elton John and once for Senator Warren.’

Of her interview with the former presidential candidate, she said it was the most anxious she’s been about a guest on the show.

She said: ‘I was so nervous I even put on a nice linen blouse. I don’t even own a friggin’ blouse! Everything in my closets is studded or leather or latex, honey.

‘So I’m going through my damn closet, like, What am I going to wear to interview the friggin’ senator? That was my main stress, of course. How am I going to serve political realness?’

Her chat show was on air on Instagram Live five days a week for a month from mid-March to mid-April.

One of her guests was Selena Gomez who told WSJ. that she loved the experience of being interviewed by her fellow ex-Disney star.

Good times: She put on all types of quirky poses

She said: ‘I happened to catch it one day and loved what she was doing and knew I wanted to be a guest. I liked the rawness of the show.

‘I feel like people are yearning for that type of realism right now. Not something overly produced.’

Miley did everything on the show from the intro song to the interviews and even booking the guests.

The star did not even go through publicists to make a pitch for an interview as she revealed that she would just direct message (DM) celebs themselves.

Bright minded: Miley donned her signature colorful style in the accompanying photoshoot including a green sequined top, peace sign patterned clingingtop and bottoms, and a blue jumpsuit

She said: ‘I am the ultimate slide-into-the-DMs! This is the way that I have communicated and actually gotten things done for years.

‘I ended up thinking, “S***, I might as well send one to Reese Witherspoon. She’s probably not going to answer, but OK.”

‘And then she answered and said she would love to give me a couple minutes. That was awesome. [I did that] with people that I knew and people that I didn’t know.’

Wearing protection: She also sported an intresting mask complete with a tongue sticking out her signature pose

She even got personal in the interview as she revealed that it is hard being away from her family during the quarantine but she is constantly on FaceTime with her mom and manager Tish Cyrus.

The Wrecking Ball singer even says the first thing she wants to do after it is over is to see her loved ones.

Miley said: ‘The first thing I want to do is definitely hug my mom and dad when I get the green light that it’s safe. Right now, my mom won’t get anywhere near me.’
