Miley Cyrus has collaborated with Mark Ronson and Sean Ono Lennon for a new version of John Lennon and Yoko Ono‘s 1971 classic “Happy Xmas (War is Over).”
Sean Ono Lennon is the son of Lennon and Ono.
Cyrus and Ronson are expected to play the Christmas classic while appearing as the musical guests on Saturday Night Live this weekend.
In an interview Thursday, Cyrus discussed the recording process for the new rendition of “Happy Xmas (War is Over) at New York’s Electric Lady Studios.
Sean’s voice is “just so special and I think more than just inheriting the voice or the way he looks or whatever, it’s about the magic he has,” she told Jimmy Fallon during The Tonight Show. “I think that’s what he’s inherited more than anything. It’s this radiant magic,” Cyrus added.
