Several months after she secretly married indie musician Phil Elverum, Michelle Williams is finally showing off her wedding ring to the world.
The actress, 38, sported a telltale silver band on her left hand at the LA premiere of her new movie “Venom” on Monday. Her dress, a sequined column by Louis Vuitton, matched the simple ring perfectly.
Williams revealed that she and the Mount Eerie rocker, 40, had tied the knot in Vanity Fair’s September issue. The two were wed in a covert ceremony in the Adirondacks, attended by only a few friends and family.
“Obviously I’ve never once in my life talked about a relationship,” Williams told the magazine, “but Phil isn’t anyone else. And that’s worth something. Ultimately the way he loves me is the way I want to live my life on the whole. I work to be free inside of the moment. I parent to let [my daughter] Matilda feel free to be herself, and I am finally loved by someone who makes me feel free.”
