The Wright-Keegan household are clearly sick of 2020 – so have put up their Christmas decorations to cheer themselves up.

Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright took to Instagram on Sunday to show off their extravagant festive decor, as they bedecked their home for the holidays seven weeks ahead of Christmas Day.

Mark, 33, documented the process, from the delivery of a gigantic tree, to the decorating of it to the impressive finished product.

Michelle, 33, posted a snap of the entryway to their home, door ajar, large tree standing pride of place in the hallway next to the staircase.

She captioned this: ‘The festivities have started early. It’s 2020, and the rules have gone out the window!! Pass me the mulled wine!’

The couple have gone for a sweet theme – literally.

The tree, banisters and doorway to the house they share has been strewn with giant candy canes and lollipops.

Before and after: Mark documented the process, from the delivery of a gigantic tree, to the decorating of it to the impressive finished product

On the front step stands two life-size toy soldiers, in the style of the queen’s guards, protecting the house.

A massive garland runs around the doorway, lit up and decorated with sweet-themed baubles and more candy canes.

Wrapped gifts sit on the front stoop and a large wreath hangs from the door.

The tree itself stretches up to the height of the stairs and is covered in red and white decorations, with Merry Christmas and Santa Stop Here signs hanging from it.
