Mel B has demanded that the CEO of Tesco call her ‘urgently’ after she saw the company are using her image in an advertisement without her permission.
The singer, 44, took to Instagram and uploaded a photo of the ad for Tesco Clubcard at a bus stop which depicts a younger Mel performing on stage in a leopard print bodysuit.
The ad is a play on the Spice Girls’ hit single Stop, with a speech bubble beside Mel reading: ‘Stop right now. You get 10% off two big shops a month for £7.99’.

Reaction: Mel demanded a response from Tesco’s CEO Dave Lewis while singer Jess Glynne said someone ‘f****d up’ with the ad
Support: Meg Mathews was also unimpressed with the ad and wrote: ‘Oh s**t…. not good’
Another speech bubble beside it reads: ‘Thank you very much’.
Mel appeared to be unhappy with her likeness being used in the ad as she asked for the head of the company, Dave Lewis, to get in touch with her.
She wrote: ‘Can the CEO OF @tescofood DAVE LEWIS PLEASE CONTACT ME URGENTLY. Thank you.’
Singer Jess Glynne, who previously sparked romance rumours with Mel during the Spice Girls reunion tour where she served as the opening act, also weighed in.

It comes after Mel recently revealed she ‘terrified’ daughter Phoenix Chi, 20, to her ‘core’ when she discussed the importance of safe sex with her in her teens years.
The Spice Girls star spoke alongside popstar Jamelia and author Amy Nickell on Badoo’s podcast The Truth Flirts where she lifted the lid on her no-holes barred approach to discussing contraception with her kids.
Mel explained that she wanted to be open with her eldest, who she welcomed with ex Jimmy Gulzar, about sex and everything that goes with it, even if it was ‘cringey’ for them.

She began: ‘When Phoenix was about 16, I was like, ‘we need to sit down and have a word about safe sex and contraception’, and she was like ‘what?’
‘And I think all her other friends had never even had that conversation with their mothers. I’m so glad, as cringey as it was, I was very to the point, I told her about boys’ intentions, or the main intentions of boys at that age.
Adding: ‘We spoke about contraception thoroughly, about condoms, what happens when you don’t use a condom, which I think terrified her to her core.’
The Leeds native, who is also mother to Angel, 12, and seven-year-old Madison, who she shares with ex Stephen Belafonte, also reflected on how porn is impacting how younger generations view sex in an unrealistic way.

She continued: ‘When I think about kids now, when all they can look at, or they can look at easily, is porn and they think that that is the way that they have sex, this is the way a woman has to act, be all sexy and fling her hair about, that’s not realistic, so I want my kids to know you don’t have to be that girl, that girl’s not even that happy, that’s that girl’s job’.
Meanwhile, Mel revealed that Phoenix is keen for her to date a sports star, a basketball player in particular.
However, the America’s Got Talent judge said she can see through Phoenix’s hopes for her mother to find love and insisted that she just wants tickets to the Lakers.
She hilariously said: ‘Not because of the tallness or the fact that what they do is an amazing sport, it’s because she wants front row tickets at the Lakers match. So she really does not care.
‘So for that reason alone, I’m like no, I’m not going to date a basketball player.’

The TV star has kept her love life under the radar for the most part since splitting from her film producer ex husband Stephen.
In September, she admitted she felt ‘isolated’ during her marriage during a tell-all interview on Lorraine, where she was accompanied by her mum Andrea Brown and Phoenix.
During her appearance on the show, Mel revealed it was her father Martin Brown’s death that prompted her to leave her ex.
The Spice Girls star explained: ‘I was in a marriage, not a very nice marriage and I was isolated not just from my mum but my sister, my friends in Leeds, and I felt really separated it tore my family apart.

‘For me it was when my dad died I thought, you know what I can’t be in this marriage anymore, I’m going to get out and make sure we are all safe and start our healing process together.’
After battling multiple myeloma cancer since 2012 Martin had been given just days to live, and Mel visited him on his deathbed in March 2017 to help look after him after he became increasingly frail and had lost the ability to talk.
But he managed to summon an ounce of strength after Mel told him she planned to end her disastrous marriage to Stephen, she explained in her autobiography Brutally Honest.
Mel’s appearance comes after it was reported that Stephen filed court documents demanding an increase in the monthly child support he receives.
The documents reportedly state that Mel should increase her monthly payments from the current $4,100, after she earned a staggering £2 million from the Spice Girls reunion tour.
Stephen has reportedly demanded his child support figure increase to around £14,000 a month. He and Mel were married from June 6th 2007 to December 15th 2017.
