She has managed to keep her relationship with Wes Nelson strong following their stint in the Love Island villa earlier this year.
But now Megan Barton Hanson, 24, has been accused of spending a ‘secret night’ with TOWIE bad boy Pete Wicks, 29, at a notorious London strip club behind Wes’s back after an awards bash last month.
The pairing are said to have met at the Animal Hero Awards at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on September 6, and Megan later spent “hours flirting” with Pete at Reign nightclub.
They were joined by fellow TOWIE stars Ferne McCann, Mario Falcone and Jon Clark.
Megan and Pete are then said to have moved on to London strip club Stringfellows, where they partied until around 4:30am.
“Megan and Pete hit it off from the moment they first started talking – they both seemed keen to get to know each other better,” an insider told The Sun.
“At first Pete was very cautious and made it clear he wasn’t interested due to her being in a relationship with Wes.
“But as the night progressed they’d both had a lot to drink and were having fun – going from an award ceremony to a club and then strip bar.”
According to the source, the pair disappeared off on their own and emerged much later.
“The pair even went ‘missing’ for a long period of time from the rest of the group that included Ferne, Mario and also Jon Clark,” the insider continued.
“Pete had to go home ahead of a radio appearance that same morning so left around 4:30am.
“Megan loves Wes so has insisted to close friends that nothing happened between her and Pete.
"But their late-night liaison has become the talk of the TOWIE and Love Island casts, with many believing Megan’s relationship with Wes won’t last.”
The revelation comes after Megan recently took to Instagram Stories to pour cold water on claims that Wes had cheated on her during a personal appearance in Worcester.
Megan posted a screenshot of a DM [direct message] she had received from an unknown fan.
According to The Sun, it read: "I’m from Worcester and Wes did an appearance. Apparently he has slept with a girl and they have signed a contract to keep it a secret."
But proving she didn’t believe cheat rumours were true, Megan wrote alongside the message: "I get dm’s chatting pure shite."
Wes previously revealed that his relationship with Megan was going from strength to strength since they left the famed ITV2 villa.
"It’s going really well! We thought we’d be at each other’s throats, but it’s not like that at all," he told OK! magazine.
"We essentially lived with each other in the villa for eight weeks so it’s not too different, except we have clean up after ourselves and cook. I lived with my mum and dad before so I’m learning the ropes."
