But Maura Higgins was far from her usual self as she revealed she had lost ‘a stone’ in weight and was unable to shower after being struck down by an illness, on Thursday.
The former Love Island contestant, 31, took to her Instagram Story as she explained she had been ‘in bed for three days’ and unable to shower.

Addressing her social media absence, Maura said: ‘This is the first time that I’ve been out of bed in I don’t know how long.
‘And if you’re wondering what the noise is, it’s a fan…because the sweat that’s protruding out of my body, I can’t even explain.
‘If I’ve not lost a stone from this illness, I’d be shocked.’

She continued: ‘I don’t think I have ever been so unwell.’
The brunette beauty posted a photo of a bubble bath and added: ‘After three full days in bed, I finally have the energy to wash myself. (Disgusting I know).’
Maura then tucked into a bowl of cereal as she asked her followers: ‘For those of you who live on your own, what do you eat when you are too ill to cook? I’ve been living off cereal.’

This comes after Maura recently revealed she had been targeted by cruel trolls who claim she’s ‘too skinny’.
The reality star said she was baffled that people believe it’s acceptable to tell her to gain weight, but has built up a thick skin when it comes to comments from others.
She told The Sun: ‘I’ve always spoken to my mammy about it and asked, “Why is it OK for people to turn around to your face and say: “God, you’re too skinny”? Would you ever say to somebody, “God, you’re too fat”? No, you wouldn’t.’

Maura went on to say, while she’s open to the idea of cosmetic surgery for people who want to boost their confidence, she would not consider it for herself, especially as a result of criticism from others.
She explained: ‘I don’t need a boob job, because I feel sexy with the size of my boobs. I’m not going to get one to suit what some random person tells me.
‘[Though] if it’s going to help somebody else feel more confident [to have surgery], then work away. I would be petrified of the boob surgery anyway. I watch that [E!] TV show Botched all the time, which puts me off.’
Maura has not had her lips done in two years, with the star saying she feels more secure within herself as she grows older and doesn’t feel the need to change her looks.
