Martha Stewart shows off plush ‘winter home’ on MTV’s Cribs which she claims is one of SEVEN houses on her idyllic farm in Bedford, New York

Martha Stewart is the latest celebrity to show off her home on MTV Cribs.

The iconic series that lets fans into stars’ homes will feature domestic goddess Martha, 80, as she gives us a tour of her very fancy farm house in Katonah, within the town of Bedford, Westchester County, New York. 

However, the businesswoman and television personality is quick to point out the home she has chosen to show off, is just one of seven that is situated on her land.

The clip starts boasting some impressive facts concerning Martha’s plush abode, which is spread across 156 acres, and holds three horses, 150 chickens, and ‘too many geese.’ 

‘A word of warning, don’t hit anything!’ Martha tells the camera crew as they barge in, to make sure they don’t break any of her luxury or ornate items.

Her impressive kitchen sees a wealth of copper cookware hanging upside down above a stylish island.

‘There are seven houses at the farm,’ Martha reveals. ‘This is what we call the winter house.’

She takes us round what she calls a ‘porch room’ that has a plethora of plants, as well as her pet birds, 14 blue canaries.

Martha previously told The New York Times that she bought the land for $15million, but had to have the two houses that were there torn down as they were beyond repair. 

Space: Martha explained this area is a great place to sit and ‘contemplate’ 

Style: Martha has recently been remodeling and redesigning her homes 

Green fingered: During the pandemic, Martha recently admitted on her website that she’s been ‘gardening like crazy’

‘We redid the vegetable greenhouse and the chicken yards and coops. And the peacocks have new roosts, so they’re happier,’ she revealed. 

In fact, it seems Martha has spent much of her time in lockdown giving her home a makeover, before showing it off for MTV Cribs.

Budgies: Martha said the birds are ‘very noisy’ but loves their company 

‘I realized my house was designed for entertaining, not for me,’ she explained.

‘I had two dining rooms I couldn’t really use. I didn’t have a comfortable place to sit and have breakfast. So Kevin Sharkey and I started reimagining and changing stuff.’

According to her website, Martha spends most of her time at this location, though she owns many other properties.
