Mariah Carey steps out in towering stilettos and a sequin mini dress as she and boyfriend Bryan Tanaka catch a screening of Bros in New York City

Mariah Carey looked fashionable as ever as she stepped out with her longtime boyfriend Bryan Tanaka for a movie date on Monday in New York City.

The 53-year-old superstar navigated the sidewalk in a pair of towering Christian Louboutin black stilettos, and slipped her curves into a mini black sequin dress.

The We Belong Together hitmaker and her other half, 39, were seen catching a screening of the romantic comedy Bros.

Mariah even had the name of the film – which features an all-LGBT cast – spelled out in gold sequins on the front of her dress.

The pop diva paired her chic ensemble with black tights, and draped a multi-color sequin jacket over her shoulder.

Nick Cannon’s ex-wife finalized the outfit with a pair of round pink-tinted sunglasses, a chunky silver bracelet, and sizable gold earrings.

Mariah wore her long honey tresses parted in the middle and styled into gentle waves that cascaded down her shoulders and back.

As for glam, the singing sensation rocked a pink lipstick and voluminous eyelashes for the day outing.   

Apparently craving a bit of sugar, the beauty held a heart-shaped red lollipop in her hand.

Meanwhile her boyfriend was casual cool in a black leather Letterman jacket that featured the number 23 and a tiger on the front.

The American/Japanese dancer – who used to be one of Mariah’s backup dancers – sported a white top underneath, and paired the look with light blue denim and white sneakers.

Tanaka accessorized with a sizable chunky gold chain that was mostly hidden underneath his T-shirt.

He wore his black tresses gelled back for the occasion, and sported a well-trimmed goatee. 

Carey and Tanaka initially met in the mid-2000s and he accompanied her as a backup dancer during her Adventures of Mimi tour, which occurred in 2006.

Before she became involved with her on-again-off-again boyfriend, the performer was famously married to her first husband, music executive Tommy Mottola, 72, from 1993 until 1998.

Carey went on to begin a short-lived relationship with singer Luis Miguel that came to an end in 2001.

She later met Nick Cannon, 41, while working on a music video, and the two tied the knot in 2008 before they welcomed twins Monroe and Moroccan, 11, in 2011. 

The former couple eventually separated and finalized their divorce in 2016.

The singer went on to become engaged to entrepreneur James Packer, although they ultimately went their separate ways.
