Madonna hasn’t relinquished a bit of her rockstar lifestyle now that she is in her 60s and revealed to Rolling Stone that she goes to bed at ‘4 AM’ every single night.
Madge, 63, was joined by Colombian superstar Maluma on the first of four Musicians on Musicians covers for the music magazine to kick off their third annual feature where the stars interview each other.
On the cover, a smooth-faced Material Girl looked impossibly youthful posed with the 27-year-old crooner, rocking influencer-style makeup and fingerless gloves.

As part of the Musicians on Musicians series, 20 stars are put in pairs and tasked with interviewing one another.
Madonna and Maluma were a natural pairing as the duo previously worked together on the duet Medellin.
Maluma, who dutifully hits the gym everyday at 6am and retires to bed before 10pm was shocked to learn that Madonna still goes strong into the wee hours of the night. ‘What time do you go to bed every day?’ he asked.
‘4 AM,’ Madonna responded. ‘I have a theory that people who were born in the daytime are most alive in the day and people who were born at night feel most creative and alive at night.’

Upon learning that the twenty-something hitmaker was in bed by 8, Madonna teased that he was an ‘old man.’
‘Those are old-man hours,’ she mocked. ‘You go to bed at 8? That’s crazy.’
During their chat Madonna promoted her new documentary, Madame X, for which she served as creative director.
‘I love dance, I love art, I love set design. I love video, I love film, I love fashion, clothes,’ she said.
It seems all of her control was well placed as the concert movie doc has been getting rave reviews from critics and fans alike. It is currently streaming on Paramount Plus.

In addition to her doc, she’s also penning a biopic about her life and revealed that writing the script has been ‘draining.’
‘It’s kind of like psychotherapy in a way, because I have to remember every detail from my childhood till now,’ Madonna said. ‘Remembering all the things that made me decide to be who I am, my journey as an artist, my decision to leave Michigan to go to New York, all the things that happened to me when I was young and naive, my relationships with my family and friends, watching many of my friends die — sometimes, I have writing sessions where I go to bed and I just want to cry.’
Initially, Madonna was getting assistance on the script from screenwriter Diablo Cody but Cody quit after encountering challenges working the singer.
Diablo reportedly found Madonna too difficult to work with and too controlling over the way her story is told.
