Lucy Meck continues to defend Ryan Thomas after Roxanne Pallett ‘punch’ scandal

Lucy Mecklenburgh has spoken out to defend her ‘sweet’ boyfriend Ryan Thomas after he was accused of punching Roxanne Pallett in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

In last night’s jaw-dropping episode Roxanne claimed she was "punched repeatedly, unprovoked and completely deliberately" by Ryan and was furious that he wasn’t removed from the show.

Speaking on the outside world, Lucy assured stunned viewers she knows the real Ryan.

The TOWIE star turned fitness model took to Instagram to share a cosy snap of her her and Ryan together.

"The kindest person I know," she wrote in the caption.

It comes after Lucy joined other CBB fans in reacting to Roxanne’s complaints via social media.

Ryan’s girlfriend of a year called for Roxanne to be removed from the Elstree compound, "I don’t think she is mentally fit to be in the house," she tweeted.

27-year-old Lucy even shared a link to the Ofcom link where she directed viewers to make their comlaints.

She also re-tweeted a post from Ricky Gervais that read: "Dear CBBUK , if Roxanne dies tonight of her injuries, it’s on your head."

On Thursday night’s show Roxanne asked to sleep in a separate bedroom because she was "suffering" and "didn’t feel comfortable" sleeping in the same room as Ryan.

Big Brother gave Ryan a formal warning after reviewing the footage and claimed that "while almost play fighting you punched Roxanne in the ribs".

Ex Corrie star Ryan came up up behind Roxanne while she carried some dirty clothes and appeared to hit her in the ribs.

She exclaimed: "Ow – woman beater that bl***y hurt. I was going to ask if you wanted your washing done but I might shrink them instead."

She then headed into the bedroom, alone, and referenced his Corrie character: "I’ve just been beaten up by Jason Grimshaw."

Roxanne added: "Ow. Big Brother that hurt."

Ryan’s brother Scott Thomas waded into the drama after the show last night and branded the former Emmerdale actress was "dangerous" and a "drama queen."

"Actually fuming at what I’ve just witnessed," Scott wrote.

He continued: "Clearly attempting to ruin my brother’s reputation over what was blatantly something harmless.
